Hi, I’m Kate Clemons

My desire to help and care for people started long before Restored Wellness ever had a name. In 2005, I graduated from massage therapy school because I knew I wanted to work with people in a hands-on, supportive way. I loved the idea of helping the body settle, release stress, and feel cared for, but even then, I knew I wanted to understand more. I didn’t just want to know what someone was feeling. I wanted to better understand why the body holds stress, why patterns show up, and how to support the whole person in a deeper way.

That desire became even more personal after walking through years of my own health struggles.

Through my teens and twenties, I dealt with ongoing symptoms, testing, scopes, biopsies, inflammation, food journals, and very few answers. I know what it feels like to sit across from providers, hoping for clarity, only to leave still feeling confused and dismissed. After years of not understanding what my body was trying to communicate, I eventually reached a point where I just accepted that maybe this was how I was going to feel.

But that was not the end of the story.

Over time, I began seeing the body differently. I started learning about food from a nutritional perspective instead of only thinking about calories. I began asking deeper questions about stress, digestion, inflammation, the nervous system, and how beautifully connected the body really is. That season opened my eyes and changed the direction of my life.

Eventually, I was introduced to biofeedback through a practitioner in Gladewater. I was hesitant to get my hopes up because I had already spent so many years searching for answers, but I went anyway. That session gave me the most in-depth look I had ever had at where my body was carrying stress and needing support. For the first time, things started to make sense. I could see patterns. I could connect dots. I could make intentional changes with more clarity.

That experience changed everything for me.

It lit a fire in me to learn this work because I knew more people needed access to this kind of insight and support. I had always known I was meant to help people, but this was the first time the work truly felt aligned with my heart, my faith, and my own story.

Today, I am an esthetician of 15 years and a biofeedback technician of 10 years. My work at Restored Wellness brings together biofeedback stress reduction therapy, Mercier Therapy, aromatherapy body treatments, and organic facials in a way that is calm, personal, and intentional.

Restored Wellness is not a rushed clinic setting. It is not a place where you are just another appointment on the schedule. It is one-on-one time where we slow down, talk through what you are carrying, and use biofeedback as a gentle, non-invasive tool to better understand patterns of stress, imbalance, and overwhelm within the body.

My work is rooted in faith and grounded in the belief that God designed the body with incredible wisdom. I believe the body often gives us signals long before we know how to understand them, and my heart is to help people begin listening with more peace, curiosity, and clarity.

Whether you are carrying stress, exhaustion, confusion, feeling dismissed, or simply wanting a deeper look at your wellness, my hope is that you feel seen here. I want Restored Wellness to feel like a place to exhale. A place where you are met with compassion, thoughtful support, and the reminder that there is still hope.

There is a phrase I have always loved: “So old so soon, so wise so late.”

Some things only time can teach us, but I believe understanding and supporting our bodies is something we can begin learning sooner. My heart is to help you take that next step with peace, intention, and care.
